Ageless Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga uses passive postures held for longer periods of time to allow for deep opening of the connective tissues, creating more joint mobility, and muscle and fascia flexibility. While surrendering into postures for 2-3 minutes, students are guided in the cultivation of observance of sensation and breath, learning to "be" to "accept what is" in that given moment. Yin Yoga includes mostly sitting or lying postures and is calm, quiet, and deep, a good complement to "yang", more active styles of yoga.
